Choosing child care is one of the most important decisions families make. Child Care Options-Resource Development Center helps parents take the guesswork out of choosing child care.
We help parents find child care by providing them with referrals and information about the elements of quality care, help them access all types of options, provide them with information on state licensing requirements, help them to increase their understanding of all aspects of children’s growth and development, and inform them about the availability of child care subsidies.
Because the child care needs of every family vary, the at Child Care Options provides guidance by phone, in person, and in other ways that are tailored to each individual families needs.
By talking to parents, the Resource and Referral Specialist gains a unique understanding of the delicate balance of family life. They understand that finding high-quality child care is just the beginning of what it takes to raise happy, healthy children. Through consumer education, community resources and Newsletters, the Resource and Referral Specialist enables families to make the right choices about all aspects of care for their children.
