While neighborhood schools will soon be closing their doors for the summer, our students are still here every day, learning through play, even when temperatures climb. Yesterday we turned our playground into a splash zone: bright buckets of water, warm grass underfoot, and big smiles all around. From soaking up the sunshine to discovering how water moves from bucket to ground, our Magic Years explorers are making the most of these long summer days.
Whether they’re toddling through puddles in their Crocs or watching a teacher’s jump send droplets flying, every moment becomes a chance to build coordination, practice sharing, and celebrate being outside. We love seeing little hands reach for blue buckets, tiny feet dance in the grass, and curious eyes follow streams of water as they arc through the air. Summer fun at Magic Years isn’t just about cooling off, it’s about creating memories, strengthening friendships, and learning in the sunshine.

Magic Years in Augusta provides Head Start and subsidized childcare for children ages 3-5.
We also have Early Head Start classrooms and subsidized childcare for children ages 6 weeks – 3yrs old.
The center is open 7:00am – 5:00pm, 50 weeks per year.
