SKCDC honored two of our amazing volunteers at the June Board of Directors meeting.

Keira Blodgett, a student at Gardiner Area High School, helps us meet the basic needs of families. She supports food and clothing distribution efforts. When she’s not volunteering, Keira is a student representative on the MDSAD #11 school board, a multi-sport athlete, a National Honor Society member and supports the community in numerous ways.

Mary Musso has been volunteering at SKCDC as a Foster Grandparent since 2018. She is a consistent, loving presence for the children at Magic Years. She is dedicated, kind and knowledgeable in her service to children. In Mary’s own words, “I love the kids’ excitement when they learn something new. I also love being part of a team. The teacher always includes me.”

We are grateful for the service of these volunteers. Thank you, Mary and Keira.
