Head Start and Early Head Start classrooms are ready for an amazing year of learning, playing, and growing together. This year brings an exciting change — our South Gardiner Early Head Start class has relocated to the Gardiner Center, joining the Head Start classrooms already here. 
Thank you to everyone who joined us — we’re looking forward to all the friendships, discoveries, and adventures ahead! 
Our Gardiner Head Start Center has openings in both our part-day and full-day preschool classrooms for ages 3-5. The part-day classroom is 4 hours and includes breakfast and lunch for your child along with lots of playtime Monday through Friday, September to May. The full-day classroom requires a child care subsidy and is open 7am to 5pm. It includes breakfast, lunch & snack and lots of playtime both inside and out, five days a week 50 weeks a year.
Our Early Head Start classroom in Gardiner enrolls children from 6 weeks old to 3yrs old and is open Monday through Friday 9am to 3pm, September to August.
We also have a home-based program, serving families with children birth through age five. A Home Visitor comes to your home weekly with developmental information, activities and resources. Two Family Discovery Days each month bring the Home-Based families together at the Gardiner Center for play, learning and socializing.
