Dental health is a big part of whole child wellness, and we’re so thankful to Waterville Community Dental for bringing their clinic to our Magic Years site!
Through this partnership, children receive important screenings and preventive care right at school—helping to build healthy smiles and positive experiences at the dentist. For families, it means one less barrier to accessing care, and more opportunities for their children to thrive.
Partnerships like this show how SKCDC works with our community to support children and families beyond the classroom. By connecting families with health services, nutrition, mental health support, and more, we are improving the lives and opportunities of children and families. 
Our Magic Years Center in Augusta provides Head Start and subsidized childcare for children ages 3-5.
We also have Early Head Start classrooms and subsidized childcare for children ages 6 weeks – 3yrs old.
The center is open 7:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, 50 weeks per year.
