Professional Development Highlight: The Pyramid Model
After our teamwork challenge, staff came together for a discussion on the Pyramid Model for Supporting Social Emotional Competence in Infants and Young Children.
The Pyramid Model is a nationally recognized framework that helps teachers create nurturing, responsive relationships, support social and emotional development, and provide positive strategies for guiding behavior. By focusing on these practices, children gain the foundation they need to be successful in school and in life.
Conversations like these remind us that strong relationships, intentional teaching, and a supportive environment all work together to help children thrive.
