The Maine Apprenticeship Program (MAP) is a nationally recognized workforce training program designed to improve worker productivity, quality and safety. Apprentice training programs have proven to attract self-directed individuals interested in attaining the skills required by employers, leading to a better trained and more committed workforce.
SKCDC provides apprenticeship opportunities for assistant teachers in our Head Start program.
